ABOUT US

Our Mission Statement

To see individuals, develop a powerful walk with Jesus Christ which is reflected in their day to day living.

Our Vision

Making disciples so that this church will continue to grow and to reach the lost as the second coming of Jesus Christ draws near.

Our Church

We started our first service on April 2nd 2017 with 10 people in attendance. The first message that was preached was, “God is interested in you”. Surely the Lord Jesus is interested in people as the demonstrated by his power that continues to power out in all its services since then. We have seen marriages restored, people filled with the Holy Ghost, people baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of their sins, healings of cancer, sugar diabetes, pains in the body, restoration of life . . . Surely Jesus is in this place and for he is interested in people.

Our Pastor and family

Pastor G.A Chingwena and his family came to Greenville South Carolina in 2016 after hearing the calling of God to come and start an Apostolic Pentecostal church. They attended New Life Church in Elsmere KY where they served under Pastor D. Stewart for many years.

Pastor Chingwena has worked in ministry for most of his life. While in Kentucky he served together with his wife as outreach director, young adults leader, bus route monitor, church board member and any task that was needed at church.

He has a passion to see people turn their lives to Jesus Christ and to mature.

Pastor Chingwena is blessed with a wonderful wife and their 4 children (Sarah, Tsitsi, Judah, Garikayi) that all serve together with him in music, bible studies, bible quiz, outreach and any work at church. This family truly loves God and people.

Our Beliefs

Greenville Pentecostal Church is a church whose purpose is to make disciples of Jesus Christ.

We are founded upon the belief that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God.
